Ananda Spa is not a standalone hotel brand — it is a wellness concept that lives within the Compass ecosystem. When a Compass or Citrus property has the footprint for a spa, Ananda Spa provides the concept, training, product curation, and ongoing management.
The name Ananda comes from Sanskrit, meaning “bliss” or “inner joy.” The concept draws on Thai traditional massage and herbal treatments alongside Ayurvedic practices from Sri Lanka, delivered in calm, thoughtfully designed spaces.
For hotel owners, Ananda Spa adds RevPAR uplift and guest retention. Guests who use the spa stay longer, spend more on F&B, and return at higher rates.
A concept within a hotel
Ananda Spa is deployed as a managed concept within an existing hotel footprint. The host property provides the space; Compass provides everything else — design guidance, product sourcing, staff training, treatment protocols, pricing strategy, and day-to-day management.
The arrangement is structured as a revenue-sharing agreement between the hotel owner and Compass, with transparent reporting against agreed KPIs each quarter.
